How to Apply Peaty’s LinkLube

1. Fully degrease your chain using a foaming drivetrain degreaser or strong solvent for new chains.

2. Rinse thoroughly and dry as much as possible. PT17 is recommended for optimal drying.

3. Shake LinkLube to evenly mix the secret sauce.

4. Apply while pedaling backwards (or forwards on a stand for e-bikes) to ensure each link is coated.

5. Cycle the chain for 10 seconds to help lube penetrate.

6. Wipe off all excess lube – leaving a small layer on the surface for wet weather protection.

Tip: On pre-used chains, the chain may turn black initially – this is normal and means the lube is pushing out hidden grime. Repeat degreasing and lubing until your chain shines like new.
