The Minion DHR II is a complete redesign. Acceleration, cornering and braking have all been improved. 
 
The shoulder knobs were borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF and then beefed up to handle duty as a rear tyre. 
 
The centre tread has been heavily ramped and siped to roll fast and track straight under braking.

Features:
 
EXO Protection is an extremely cut resistant and abrasion resistant material added to the sidewalls. This densely woven fabric is also lightweight and highly flexible, ensuring that the performance of the tyre remains unaffected.
 
TR : Tubeless Ready tyres provide the rider with many benefits: the ability to run lower air pressures, which improves traction; lower rolling resistance when compared to a tube-type tyre; and less chance of flatting since there is no tube. Maxxis Tubeless Ready (TR) tyres provides the benefits of a UST Tubeless tyre without the weight penalty.
 
60 TPI : The number of threads that cross through one square inch of a single ply of the tyres casing. Lower TPI gives better puncture , cut and abrasion resistance but is heavier. Higher TPI conforms better to the terrain, offering a smoother, more comfortable ride while reducing the weight of the tyre. 
 
Foldable Bead: Foldable beads also keep the tyre secure to the rim but are lighter weight and easily transported. The bead is made of spun aramid or Kevlar fibres.
 
Dual Compound: 2 compounds used within the tread of select tyres to offer lower rolling resistance and increased cornering grip
 
WT : Wide Trail casing is optimized for 30-35mm inner width rims (for the 27.5×2.40″ WT size we offer)
